Angel City Football club is a soccer team in the NWSL based out of Los Angeles, California. The team prides themselves in finding success on the field but also in the community.
With this project my team hoped to continue that success.

Angel City Football Club (ACFC) incorporates several common themes that define its brand and mission. These themes are central to its identity and resonate deeply with its fans and broader community:

These themes align with the club’s broader mission to be more than just a team, but a catalyst for social good and community development.
With this in mind we created The Court of Angels a new fan experience focused on on the teams ongoing themes of unity, belonging and freedom of expression.
To do this we created a new, groundbreaking custom jersey experience. Using a design template users would be able to customize their own jersey with an assortment of different patterns, graphics and patches so that they can freely express themselves whilst representing their favorite club.
With this in mind we created The Court of Angels a new fan experience focused on on the teams ongoing themes of unity, belonging and freedom of expression.
To do this we created a new, groundbreaking custom jersey experience. Using a design template users would be able to customize their own jersey with an assortment of different patterns, graphics and patches so that they can freely express themselves whilst representing their favorite club.

Entering Zone 1 guests would be greeted with displays of Angel City FC's past jerseys. As years pass the collection will continue to grow with them including everything from inaugural jerseys to specialty jerseys.
These jerseys would then be paired with highlights of the teams most iconic moments to evoke a sense of nostalgia and help to bring some inspiration for their own creation.

Once our fans take some time to gather inspiration through Zone 1 the time to make their visions come to life begins in Zone 2. Here at the jersey creation stations guests will be greeted by a jersey template including different branded colors, graphics, community based stickers and more! Creating an experience that allows our fans to draw more personal connections between our team and their freedom of expression.
The experience doesn't end there however, once a jersey has been created it is then converted into a full body filter using motion tracking and augmented reality and will be transposed onto our fan. Following this a recording of one of their favorite players will appear on screen offering praise for their work and will take a picture with this fan creating an experience that will last a lifetime.
